Rugby can change a child’s life. Through rugby, bursaries can be earned and international careers in sport built. Even if you don’t succeed at the highest level, playing the game well can set you up to have an experience that will prepare you to be more successful in life all round.
Skills are the most critical part of the game. Unfortunately, in the school coaching system, there is no longer time to cover individual skills. There are not enough coaches in the normal school system to properly cover the safety and team play aspects. To give players the best chance of succeeding safely, private skills coaching is essential.
- 3 Level Group specific sessions with not more than 8 players to 1 coach.

Like the driving range for golf but for rugby.
The SBA is open to players from surrounding schools. Players attend 1-hour lessons weekly on a structured lesson plan covering individual skills. A low student-to-coach ratio means high individual attention levels. In each lesson, they earn stickers for exhibiting ShadowBall values. Players are graded twice per year. Successful grading earns you a badge.
